What do you call the people that tell you your flight’s been delayed?

you know, those annoying people in the airport.. not flight attendants.. frick, i totally don’t know. help. please. :D

normal name =ticket agent official title (CSA) =costumer service agent ,does the announcement majority of the time. ground op`s does the decision. Working with other sections within in airlines.

If you are in the airport, it is the ‘gate’ agent or customer service agent. Already on the plane?
The captain will make the announcement.
Yes, they can sound annoying, but try to imagine how frustrated and annoyed they feel by passengers shouting and screaming at them over something of which they have no control.

The person at the check in counter, that usually is the first to get yelled at if anything goes wrong. Thats them

I just remember that their job is ‘working’ the crowd and serves no purpose to me to berate them or add to an already unpleasant moment for them.
Complaining and carrying on doesn’t get you anything except the resentment of your fellow travelers who now have to watch and make certain you’re not going to interfere with the flight for some reason.
Having to even be at the airport sucks…I see no reason to add to the misery.
