I’d go and speak to your travel agent - take evidence of what the others are offering and see what they can do for you. Stay polite but kick up a fuss and insist you have the free upgrade.

Good luck.

Talk to your travel agent. Find out why you were not offered the free upgrade. Being nice through these situations is much more likely to get you what you want. It could be that thee airline is only offering the free upgrades to people that have status with the airlines, or some other small print that you may not be aware of. If you feel that you meet all the rules and restrictions of the free upgrade, like I said, contact your travel agent.

It’s ceratainly not the airline’s fault, I would go back to the Agent in the first place and ask them to explain the situation.

In the unlikely event that they are not helpful, then take it up with ABTA to which all travel agents belong.

Your travel agent gave you what you wanted and now you are complaining?

Always ask about upgrades or what happens if the price goes down? Talk about these things before you spend the money. I suggest you contact your agent and see what they will do. A good agent should attempt to make you happy. They want you back as a client.

Go talk to your travel agent. Make sure you take evidence with you. Maybe your travel agent doesn’t want you to have an upgrade promotion. If they can’t get it, then they don’t want anyone else to get it the upgrade. It may be harsh but some people don’t like anyone to get what they want. My guess could be wrong though. All you have to do is talk to your agent and bring some kind of evidence with you. Good Luck!

Quit whining…..you got what you paid for. Why does anyone owe you?
