Delta Airlines has a popup ad on Yahoo maps which interferes with my map usage. How can I get rid of it?

You “activated” it when your mouse accidentally (?) went over it. It is a new and most annoying practice by websites, especially when they don’t even have an “X” or “close” button or link. Either move the mouse away from it and wait a few seconds, or scroll down the page until the offending pop-up disappears, then scroll back up to see what it had covered, or reload the page but keep your mouse away from the area which might have activated it.
P.S. There was no reason to mention either company name in the question, which could be construed as libelous, if not blatant advertising. You could have simply said, “How do I get rid of webpage pop-ups that appear automatically and have no obvious way to close them?”
